ARGUIMBAU.-At Cliveden, Johnston-street, Annandale, Captain N. G. Arguimbau, R.N [4.3-1909 SMH page 6] Captain Arguimbau, R.N., who died at his residence, Cliveden, Johnston-street, Annandale yesterday, served with distinction in the Crimean war. He commanded H.M.S. Supply on the West Coast of Africa, and retired into private life shortly after his arrival in Sydney in command of the Iris. Captain Arguimbau was mentioned in despatches in recognition of his services as master of the Triton at the bombardment of Sebastopol. [4-3-1909 SMH page 6]
