Charles Eisenmmnger is recorded in "The Courier," Brisbane, as having arrived on the ship "La Rochelle," sailing from Hamburg, April 28th, 1862, he was sent for by family or friends who were already residing in the Colony. In March, 1883 Friedrich Eisenmenger (brother) died at the age of 47 leaving a widow and six children. Charles married her in October of the same year. He became a member of the Walloon Divisional Board and had been appointed Chairman.
