The death occurred in Melbourne on Friday last says the "Daily News," of Mrs. Hoban, senr., of Urana, relict of the late John Hoban. Mrs. Hoban had been in failing health for some time, and had been under medical treatment in Albury. About ten days ago she went to Melbourne to undergo an operation. News of her death, however, was received on Friday night. The lte Mr. Hoban resided in Albury for a number of years, and latterly with her son John, who is Rabbit Inspector for Urana district. She leaves a family of eight sons and three daughters. Her husband predeceased her on January 1st, 1909. The late Mrs. Hoban was 62 years of age, and a native of Wangaratta (Victoria). Mr. James Hoban, of the Urana Hotel, Urana, is a son. The remains were conveyed to Albury for interment yesterday afternoon. [26-7-1910 The Corowa Free Press page 3]
