Richmond General Cemetery is less than 100 years old and entirely monumental. It is fully fenced, provides parking facilities and contains inscriptions dating from 1917 to present day. The monuments are mostly in excellent condition and legible and the grounds maintained in good order by Richmond Shire Council.

Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane visited the site in May 2011 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. Their pictures may be downloaded from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled from their images and with reference to the Queensland online indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.

From town centre, head south-east on Goldring Street and Flinders Highway for 1.1km, turn right into Burke Street for 1km to the cemetery. Lat -20.776663, Long 143.14471
