Koorawatha Cemetery is divided into denominational portions, all of which are clearly signposted. It appears to have been in use since the turn of the 20th century, the earliest inscription extant being dated 1900. The monuments are generally in good condition and the inscriptions legible. There is no lawn section or columbarium.
Ann Gardner has contributed digital images she made of every visible inscription during March 2010. She says that Koorawatha "is a beautiful cemetery set in natural bushland and preserved flora". Ann's images may be viewed from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
