This collection is designed to bring together partial listings from cemeteries within Western Australia. The list of inscriptions has been compiled from the images and data supplied by the contributors and with reference to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information. The location of each marked or unmarked grave is shown in the remarks column.
The initial group of images was contributed by Aly Loney who recorded them in April 2010. They are of headstones moved from their original location at Karrakatta Cemetery, Claremont, mostly from portion OC, in preparation for the re-use of the portion as a lawn cemetery. At this stage it is not known what will happen to these monuments.
The persons who have kindly contributed images or information on unmarked graves are gratefully acknowledged below. Further contributions are invited.
