Casino Lawn
Casino Lawn Cemetery was consecrated and dedicated in 1961 and occupies a site of almost 1 hectare. The grounds include several columbaria and toilet facilities and a gazebo shelter are on site. It is maintained in excellent condition by the Richmond Valley Council.
Sandra Cockbain visited the cemetery on a number of occasions during 2009 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. Her pictures may be viewed from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information Sandra has completed updating on 24 October 2020.
The cemetery is on the eastern side of Reynolds Street, 0.4km north of Summerland Way (Queensland Road).
Casino Lawn Cemetery is administered by Richmond Valley Council. For further cemetery information, contact Council at Locked Bag 10, Casino NSW 2470; phone 02 6660 0300; email: council@richmondvalley.nsw.gov.au
