Garra Cemetery dates from the turn of the 20th century, the earliest inscription extant being 1896. It appears to have been laid out in denominational portions but these are not signposted. The monuments are generally in good condition and legible and the grounds well maintained by Cabonne Council.
Peter Arthur visited the cemetery on a showery day in March 2010 and made a digital image of every visible inscription. Peter's images may be viewed from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. The list was compiled with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
