Maryborough Cemetery is comprised of Monumental Cemetery, & Garden of Rest Lawn Cemetery (and are separate entities of business to the Maryborough Crematorium). Both the Monumental Cemetery, and Garden of Rest Lawn Cemetery are operated and managed by the Fraser Coast Regional Council.
Monumental (Sth of Walker Street) - was established in 1873, and is still in use as of 2019, even though in 1960, the Maryborough Garden of Rest Lawn Cemetery was established north of Walker Street.
Lawn - known as the Garden of Rest (Nth of Walker Steet) - was established in 1960, and is still in-use as of 2019.
Maryborough Crematorium (is a separate entity of business to the Maryborough Cemetery) - Privately owned by Funeral directors J. Kirk and Son - est in 1979 - has Granite walls with Memorial Niches.
