In recent years, this little cemetery has benefited greatly from the hard work of a group of local residents, in conjunction with the local Tidy Towns Committee and the Lithgow City Council. Since our previous visit several years ago, new entrance portals, gates and fencing have been installed, trees planted along the driveway, grounds cleaned up and water connected to the site. A small columbarium, with seats and garden has been erected but, as yet, contains no ashes. An area adjoining the monumental section has been prepared for use as a lawn cemetery but no burials have yet taken place in that section.

The cemetery appears to have been established around 90 years ago. The earliest inscription we listed was dated 1917. We found the whole site mown and trimmed and in excellent condition. The monuments are generally in good order, although many of the post-war marble tablets are now difficult to read. We saw no evidence of vandalism and almost no broken glass. There are no amenities.

This list was compiled from digital images that Jean and I made of every visible inscription and from notes taken on site on 24 November 2004. Our records were updated on 22 February 2006. We also referred to the NSW index of births, deaths and marriages and the World War 2 Nominal Roll for additional information.
