Tomingley is situated on the Newell Highway, 425 Klms west of Sydney and 54 Klms south west of Dubbo, in the Central West of NSW. Tomingley is a historic town at the junction of the Newell Highway and roads leading north to Narromine and west to the Bogan River.
The Overflow Hotel was the stopping point for Teamsters and a changing station for Coaches. The Overflow was also the site of a Chinese Garden owned by Charlie Wah Sing and his wife Sarah and daughter Minnie, who are buried in the Tomingley Cemetery.
Photographed and transcribed by Peter Patterson-Kane in July 2014.
The road leading to the cemetery is diagonally opposite the pub and motel.
