This is a small, non denominational cemetery (though graves are quite spread out). Most graves consist of simple crosses with metal strips with the deceased's name, though many graves don't give a complete name or any other details. It is unknown if there are more unmarked graves on the site. The graves are in OK condition, the cemetery is fenced and grass is kept short, but no amenities on site. Access is through cattle gates and up a grass lane.

Stannum Cemetery is a 15 minute drive from Deepwater, which lies on the New England Highway. From Deepwater, turn on to Torrington Road and follow for approximately 17 kilometres. A sign on the road points to the cemetery which is set back from the road a few hundred metres.
