Milparinka is a small settlement in north-west New South Wales, on the Silver City Highway. This is a historic Town. Gold was found in the 1870s and a rush began in 1880. At the time of the 2006 census, Milparinka had a population of 55 people. Since 2014 this number has dropped to 10 inhabitants. Inscriptions recorded date from 1855.
No signs of neglect or vandalism.
Milparinka is 250km north of Broken Hill, just off the Silver City Highway. From the highway turn onto Milparinka Road for 2km. Turn left, towards town, onto Loftus Street for 200m. Turn right onto College Street and continue for 1.9km, driving parallel to air strip. Cemetery is on right hand side.
