The Sedgefield/Singleton General Cemetery comprises denominational monumental portions, denominational lawn portions and a columbarium. The portions are all clearly marked and the grounds are maintained in good order. The cemetery is a little over 100 years old with the earliest inscription found dated 1898.
Digital images of every visible inscription were made by Robert Tozer in August 2004 and the inscription list prepared from those images by Roma Waldron. In compiling the list, we referred to the NSW indexes for births, deaths and marriages and to military records for both world wars for further information.
The digital images may be viewed and downloaded from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery.
