Denman Cemetery is located on the southern side of Rosemount Road about 3km west of the town of Denman NSW.
The cemetery is divided into older Anglican, Presbyterian and RC monumental areas and a more modern lawn area. There is a small columbarium. There is no signage to identify the monumental areas - the Anglican is the larger area along the southern boundary fence whilst the RC is the smaller area west of the car park. The small Presbyterian section was not separately identified.
There are no facilities other than town water.
The grounds are maintained in excellent condition by Muswellbrook Shire Council. Headstones are generally in good condition with no sign of vandalism. Some earlier headstones have been lost or are becoming difficult to read particularly in the Anglican area.
In 2014 Lyn Keily supplied a listing of approx. 420 individuals in the cemetery but without images. Ray Cork visited the site in September 2018 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. These images have been transcribed and added to the database.
