Greta Cemetery occupies a site on the north-eastern side of the town and appears to have been established in the 1870s. Several inscriptions were found dated 1879. The monuments are generally in good order and upright and the grounds well maintained by Council.
Joe Sharman visited the cemetery in January 2013 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. Joe's pictures may be downloaded from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled from the images and with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
