Cemetery 331 - Brunkerville Uniting Church

Brunkerville Uniting Church

59 Gills Lane

The Brunkerville Uniting Church Cemetery is located in the grounds behind the church and contains monuments bearing inscriptions that date from 1872. More recently, two columbariums have been erected. The earliest date here is 1962.

Ruth King visited the cemetery in late 2007 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. She says that there are two rows of graves along the southern and northern boundaries and six small rows in the middle of the site. She also mentions that several graves have been indicated by markers bearing a surname only, some of which are now difficult to read.

The list of inscriptions was compiled with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and also to the Australian War Memorial online nominal rolls for both world wars for additional information.

Brunkerville Cemetery and church is on the eastern side of Freemans Drive, south of its junction with Gills Road, on the road to Freemans Waterhole.
