The Allan Family Private Cemetery houses five (5) deceased members of the Allan family who were the first settlers arriving in Australia in 1851. Members buried there are George Allan (Born 1789, Died 1876 and his wife Mary Allan (nee Horwood) - buried together, but I am unable to read the headstone for her date of death. The first son of the family William Allan (Born 2/8/1820, Died 28/4/1915) and the youngest son John Allan (Born 16/11/1834, Died 10/8/1921) and his wife Janet Allan (nee Gilfillan), (Born 1842, Died 14/2/1927) are also buried together.
