Nerrigundah

A goldrush was declared in the district in 1861 with the Gulph Goldfield proclaimed 24 December 1861. Nerrigundah township was surveyed in 1867 and proclaimed a village 20 March 1885. The township declined from the early 20th century and only a handful of buildings and roads remain.
A number of cemeteries were established in the area. This one was dedicated 16 January 1904.
Located on cleared ground amongst regrowth forest the cemetery is active (2018).

The cemetery is located approximately 1.5km by road east of the Constable Miles O'Grady Monument (which is at the intersection of Moruya, Gulph and William Streets, Nerrigundah).
