Address: Emu Park - Rockhampton Road, Emu Park 4710 QLD
Emu Park Cemetery appears to have been established late in the 19th century, the earliest inscription extant being dated 1895. It comprises monumental portions, a lawn cemetery and two columbaria with plaques dating from 1974.
Peter & Karen Patterson-Kane have contributed the images they made when they photographed all visible inscriptions in the cemetery late in December 2011. Peter says that the cemetery is fully fenced, very neat and tidy and well maintained by Council.
Peter's images may be downloaded from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled from his pictures and with reference to the Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
