McKinlay Cemetery

Address: off Toolebuc McKinlay Road, McKinlay 4823 QLD

McKinlay Cemetery has served McKinlay and its surrounds since 1889 with the last marked burial occurring in 1961. Only 21 monuments are now to be found but a list of known burials exhibited at the cemetery indicates that only about 40 per cents of graves are marked. The list is very weather worn and faded but we have done our best to decipher and include all these names.

Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane photographed McKinlay Cemetery on 2 November 2010. Peter says that the area is fully fenced and was in neat and tidy condition. The list of all inscriptions for this cemetery was compiled from Peter and Karen's images and with reference to the Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages for additional information.
