Cawarral Cemetery

Cawarral Cemetery occupies quite a large site but contains only a small number of monuments. These date from 1902. The cemetery is fully fenced and provides some sheltered seating at the entrance. The grounds were found in good order and are well maintained by Rockhampton Regional Council.
Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane surveyed the cemetery in September 2010 and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. They also compiled the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. The Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages has been consulted for additional information.
How to find it
From Cawarral, head west on Annie Drive for 1.7km, turn left into Cemetery Road for 900m and left into Helena Lane. Lat -23.262675, Long 150.664625
