Jericho Cemetery

Jericho Cemetery contains inscriptions dating from the 1880s to the present day. The monuments are mostly in good condition and legible. The grounds are fenced and well maintained by Council. Shelter is provided and there is no evidence of vandalism. A columbarium has not yet been added to the site.
Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane visited the cemetery and made digital images of every visible inscription in July 2010. Their pictures may be viewed from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled from the images and with reference to the Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.

On the Capricorn Highway, Jericho is 87km east of Barcaldine. The cemetery entrance is at the southern end of Lyon Street. Lat -23.607034 Long 146.128527
