Pimpama Cemetery

Pimpama Cemetery contains memorials dating from 1878 to the present day. It includes a modern lawn section, a columbarium and a war memorial. Peter Arthur visited the site in July 2009 and says that the grounds are well maintained by the Gold Coast City Council. There are adequate shade trees and seating and water are available. He found no evidence of vandalism.
Peter photographed all visible inscriptions in the monumental and lawn areas. It is hoped that details of the columbarium plaques can be added at a later date. How to find it
Pimpama is 11km south of Beenleigh.Take exit 43 from the Motorway to the east and turn south into Service Road for 2.4km. The cemetery is on the right, next to the Uniting Church. Lat -27.805335 Long 153.267882
