Address: Service Road, Pimpama 4209 QLD
Pimpama Cemetery contains memorials dating from 1878 to the present day. It includes a modern lawn section, a columbarium and a war memorial. Peter Arthur visited the site in July 2009 and says that the grounds are well maintained by the Gold Coast City Council. There are adequate shade trees and seating and water are available. He found no evidence of vandalism.
Peter photographed all visible inscriptions in the monumental and lawn areas. It is hoped that details of the columbarium plaques can be added at a later date. Peter's images may be viewed on the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled with reference to the Queensland online indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
