Mudgeeraba Cemetery
Address: Mudgeeraba Road, Mudgeeraba 4213 QLD
Mudgeeraba is a modern lawn cemetery that appears to have been developed from an older monumental cemetery. Although there are two earlier inscriptions, the cemetery seems to have come into general use in the 1930s. Peter Arthur, who surveyed the site in July 2009, says that the grounds are well shaded and seating and water is available. The cemetery includes columbaria and extensive memorial gardens. The whole area is maintained in excellent condition by the Gold Coast City Council.
Peter has contributed the digital images he made of all visible inscriptions at the time. His images may be viewed from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled with reference to the Queensland online indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.
