Kumbia Lutheran Cemetery

Kumbia Lutheran Cemetery is believed to have been associated with a Lutheran Church that once stood next to this site. It contains inscriptions that date from 1910 to 2007. When Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane visited the cemetery in January 2010, they found it in good order with monuments intact and erect.

Their list of all inscriptions for this cemetery has been compiled from those images and notes and with reference to the Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial online military rolls for additional information.

How to find it

Kumbia Lutheran Cemetery is on the north eastern outskirts of the village. From Kumbia, head north on the Bruce Highway for 1.0km, turn right into Nollers Road for 2.3km then left into Kumbia Back Road for 1.3km to the cemetery on the left hand side of the road.
