Kingsborough Cemetery

Address: Thornborough-Kingsborough Road, Kingsborough 4871 QLD

Kingsborough, a few kilometres east of Thornborough in far north Queensland, was one of many towns that once existed on the rich Hodgkinson Goldfield. The tiny overgrown Kingsborough Cemetery contains only four headstones with five inscriptions between them. It is not known how many unmarked graves there may be at this location.

Peter and Karen Patterson-Kane visited and photographed the cemetery in September 2009. Their digital images may be downloaded from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. The list was compiled with reference to the Queensland indices of births, deaths and marriages for additional information.
