Clarence Lawn Cemetery

Clarence Lawn Cemetery occupies an area of approximately 5 hectares and has provided lawn cemetery facilities for the Grafton district since the mid-1960s. The main lawn area is laid out in five sections with plaques mounted on each side of the beams. There are also several columbaria, a children's section and memorial gardens. The grounds are well maintained by the Clarence Valley Council.
Sandra Cockbain has visited the cemetery on a number of occasions and photographed all visible inscriptions. She also prepared the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery which has been compiled with reference to the NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and to the Australian War Memorial's online military rolls for additional information.
How to find it
From the Pacific Highway at South Grafton, head south on Armidale Road for 6.8km. The cemetery is on the left hand (eastern) side of the road just past the Orara Way intersection.
