Redbank General Cemetery

Also known as Old Bar.

Address: Old Bar Road, Pampoolah 2430 NSW

The Redbank General cemetery occupies a deep and narrow site. It is divided into general and denominational portions but does not include a lawn section or columbarium. Paul Fitzgerald has contributed the images he made of every visible inscription when he visited the site in May 2008. He found inscriptions dating from 1864, however there are few inscriptions extant before those of the 1880s.

The grounds are maintained in good condition by the Greater Taree City Council but the internal road is not paved and there are no amenities provided on site.

Paul's images may be downloaded from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. That list was compiled with reference to the NSW births, deaths and marriages indices and the Australian Warm Memorial nominal rolls for additional information.
