Paul Fitzgerald visited and photographed the historic little Gilwarra Cemetery in April 2008. He found headstones dating from 1870 in a site that is obviously suffering from neglect.

How to find it
From Taree, take the Manning River Drive (3km); at the roundabout, turn left into Old Bar Road and then left again into Glenthorne Road; after 0.9 km, turn right into Gilwarra Lane.
