Nobby General Cemetery

Address: Mount Kent Boundary Rd, Nobby 4360 QLD

The Nobby Cemetery was photographed and listed by John Arthur in January 2007. John found inscriptions dating from 1903, amongst them the grave of Sister Kenny, a bush nurse well known for her pioneering work in the treatment of poliomyelitis, then known as infantile paralysis, in children. The cemetery was in good order.

John's images may be downloaded from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery. In compiling that list, we referred to the Queensland BDM online search facility and to military records for additional information.
