Thallon Cemetery

Address: William Street, Thallon 4497 QLD

The new Thallon Cemetery was photographed and listed by Lloyd Gibson in July 2007. So far there are only nine inscriptions. The site is maintained in good order by the Balonne Shire Council.

Lloyd says that the old Thallon Cemetery, several km out of town fell into disuse years ago. There are now no headstones remaining and he was able to find only fragments of markers and grave surrounds on the site. Until this new cemetery was established about 1998, burials from Thallon mostly went to the St George Cemetery.

Lloyd's images may be viewed and downloaded from the list of all inscriptions for this cemetery.
