Sapphire is another of the small townships on the Gemfields of Central Queensland and is notable for the nearby sole remaining Miners Common in Queensland.

How to find it
From Emerald, take the Capricorn Highway west for 43km to Anakie, then turn north onto the Rubyvale Road for 11km to Sapphire.
